When a baby is born, then a doctor says, “It’s a boy” or “It’s a girl. Assigning someone’s sex is based on a sensitive issue where we discuss biology to be conducted in body chromosomes, anatomy, and hormones. But a person’s gender identity is really critical the inner sense of being male, female, or both don’t always match their biology. Transgender people say very clearly that they were assigned a sex that isn’t true to who they are. Many people have assumptions to show in front of illiterate people about what it means to be transgender, but it isn’t about surgery, or sexual orientation, or even how someone dresses. It’s how they feel inside.

Last week I went to Islamabad I was going to Rawalpindi commercial market. And visit many commercial areas I saw a group of transgender in very poor condition on the traffic signals, and they were begging very hurtfully. When I saw them, I met them, and I asked about the life issues they are facing in our society. He told me that last year I went to my town because I was much missed my parents and want to meet my parents but my parents refused to meet me. He also told me that one of his group members died due to lack of care about health and medical facility. Because we have no right to get the same medical facility as normal people get in the society. They told me they don’t get any educational facilities in Pakistan. There are so many cases which are very unbelievable of sexual harassment with Trans -genders, but no one is taking legal action against for them of those criminals. Police also involve this society don’t file cases if someone has committed a crime against us.

All these terrible facts left me speechless, a really disappointing situation for the entire educated human and I thought why this kind of social injustice lack knowledge and humiliating behavior in our country can’t accept for the other living communities. Pakistan is the second largest well organized Islamic state in the world; Islam has given equal rights equal stability for life in society to everyone. But this is really bad reality transgender rights are neglected by the government in Pakistan. Later I researched all these facts then I got to know that over 10,418 total transgender populations who’s faced these problems in Pakistan. People make fun out of them.

Then I researched on the rights of transgender and his all laws many websites other Islamic states, so I got to know great full that Saudi government bans and they assured to give all transgender community to allow them to get the visa for UMRAH and HAJJ. I was surprised when I heard about that law, really surprising news for me who we are to stop them and all Muslim to perform UMRAH and HAJJ. All I want to say that transgender is also humans they deserve respect, love, care, and equal rights in every society. Islam gives everyone equal rights, and we must be following all the rules but we don’t give them their rights. Why they face ignorance and hatred from everywhere?  Why they can’t get all over human rights like normal people in Pakistan? We should change our thinking towards them. We should give them equal rights educate them and assured to give them protection and provide them every facility which we avail from the society. So change your thinking, so they live their life with respect and dignity.

Keep one thing in your mind, “They are transgender by nature not by choice.”
