RETURN OF MAHATIR MUHAMMAD IN MALAYSIA

History stands witness to the fact that, Mahathir Mohamad has left no stone unturned. After his shock election victory 15 years, after he stood down. In the history of Malaysia, its first time occurred, wherein Malaysian has warmly well-come to the Mahathir Mohamad after a 15 years of his tenure in the politics. He has broken the ice in world history, where Mahathir Mohamad has been elected 7th Prime Minister at the age of 92.

Malaysian celebrated the 92- years – old unexpected victory over the Prime Minister Najib Razak. On the sworn of the world oldest elected leader not only Malaysian’s but entire world remained shocked.

In the election of May, 2018 Mahathir Mohamad after his opposition alliance pulled off a stunning election win, ending six decades of rule by a coalition he once led.

Mahathir Mohamad was born on July 10, 1925. He was the excellent student at the school and became a Medical Doctor. Before entering the parliament in 1964. He became an active UMNO, where he served one term before losing his seats, subsequently falling out with Prime Minister Tunku Abdul Rahman, besides it, he runs off from UMNO.

After an Abdul Rehman resignation, Mahathir re-entered UMNO and parliament, including with he was promoted to the cabinet. In 1976 he had risen to deputy Prime Minister. In 1981 again after the resignation of his predecessor, Hussein Onn, He was sworn in as a P.M. He served as the Fourth Prime Minister from 1981 to 2003, a longest-serving holder. Mahathir’s political career has spanned more than 70 years, since he first joined a newly formed United Malays National Organization (UMNO) in 1946, before forming his own party, Parti Pribum Bersatu Malaysia in 2016.

The main target of Mahathir Muhammad to fight against the corruption, as well as review politically motivated charges against the dissidents. He has promised to fulfil a campaign to Cut Corruption. His top priorities to renovate the economy and sorting out the country’s finances. He came out of retirement and defected to the opposition to take on and beat former portage.

Mahathir was sworn in late on Thursday night. Respectively seventh Prime Minister of Malaysia, Commonly known as the father of Malaysia’s Modernization as well as an autocrat who has kept a tight hold over the power, the 92-year-old previously governed the country from1981-2003, it was overseeing the period of rapid industrialization and infrastructure building.
