World Health Organization WHO has added gaming under the section that deals with ’disorders due to addictive behavior’ (category6) which also deals with alcohol, drugs, gambling. Average thinking is that if a child is not playing the games for the last 12 months and his other parts of life is not being affected by games doesn’t mean an addicted to games at all. In severe cases, parents need to give their children quality time and refer them to new good and constructive hobbies rather than to stay stern to them. It may result in depression which is a disaster in itself.

Games are a world of scape for our youth, they feel relax in the peaceful world of games, where they don’t need to face the bitter reality of the world. The world of games online seems to them much tranquil place rather than to face hypocrite society. Research have found functional and structural changes in the neural reward system in gaming addicts, in part by exposing them to the gaming cues that cause carving and monitoring their neural responses. These neural changes are basically the same as those seen in other addictive disorders.

CONTINUOUS GAMING A THREAT FOR HEALTH:

A study has suggested that to sit in a place for hours to concentrate on a thing that can damage your health. It increases the risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis. Another threat is that the flashlights a game consist may cause epilepsy, especially among those who already are suffering from photosensitive epilepsy.
