MAGNIFICENCE OF THE WORLD

INTRODUCTION:

This world is created with extraordinarily beautiful places, but the elegance of some places cannot be denied. There are the beautiful trough, wonderful ridges, glorious ravines, tremendous valleys, majestic oceans, awesome plains which show the majesty of God. These landforms give a breathtaking view and show how beautiful and splendid the creator of creations would be. Such views show the graciousness and beneficence of Lord.

Though all the things made by God are amazing a few places are worth watching. Let’s have a look at some incredible places.

Salar De Uyuni:

Salar de Uyuni is the world’s largest salt flat. It is located in Daniel Campos Province in Potosi in south-west Bolivia. The magnificent Salar was formed as a result of some prehistoric lakes. At times the salt flat is covered with very clear water makes it the largest natural mirror in the world. NASA uses Salar de Uyuni for positioning their satellites. There are 80 species of birds including three species of FLAMINGOS which are very rare now a day. So if you are planning to spend a cool, lovely holiday so visit this place.

2- NORTHERN LAKE BAIKAL RUSSIA:

Lake Baikal is located in southern Siberia. It contains 22-33 % of World’s fresh surface water. It was formed as an ancient rift valley. It is also home to Buryat tribe which resides on the eastern side of Baikal. There are 236 species of birds which inhabit here.65 native fish species occur in Lake Basin. There are sponges, bivalves, Annelids, nematodes and flatworms present in the lake. So if you are tired of monotonous life and want to visit something spectacular so do visit this Lake.

On Lake Baikal, about hundred gas volcanoes were found.

Lake Baikal is about 35 million years old.

The wave height of storms reaches up to 4-5 meters.

It is the deepest lake on earth.

The area of Lake Baikal is equal to the area of the whole country, Belgium.

3- KUANG SI FALLS:

It is three levelled waterfall located about 29 kilometers south of Luang Prabang. The falls begin in the shallow pool atop a steep hillside. It is well maintained with walkways to guide the visitors and is the best place for recreation. Most of the pools are open for swimming but one pool is closed because of the scariest site.

There are several small wooden bridges that you can pass and enjoy the most beautiful view.

The grand prismatic spring in Yellowstone National Park is the largest hot spring in the USA. Its colors match rainbow, the dispersion of white light by a prism. The vivid colors in spring are the result of microbial mats. The mats produce colors ranging from green to red. It discharges approximately 560 gallons US water per minute.

The colors of spring start to grow deeper or fade depending upon the season.

In the center of the spring, the temperature of water reaches 87-degree Celsius.

It contains the hottest spring geysers in the world.

Yellow, Orange and green pigments are produced by bacteria.

Algal mats are present on the edges.
