I think we can probably all agree that many people compare themselves to others too without any reasons. Let’s an example when I grow since schooling to practical life, there were many aspects of stupid think occur, through which I start myself to compared other. I know that sounds bad, but without acknowledging that, it will be harder to stop and understand better. In fact, everyone has done it at one point in his or her life.

However, most people often compare themselves to others to determine, to judge and to identify how well they are doing in life and how where they are the stand in life.

Moreover, in some cases, it can be motivating and inspiring to compare yourself to others, but in most cases, it is negative and can lead to:

A waste of time. Comparing yourself to others can take valuable time and moments away.

Unhappiness, because the process of comparing yourself to others is never ending.

A feeling of defeat, you feel that you are not as good as someone else.

Simply we can assume that

By comparing yourself to other

You are holding yourself back.

Good things can happen to other people; it does not mean that your life is any less important. Adding, by being happy for others, you will learn to accept yourself and let more positivity into your life.

Being positive can help you in many ways, especially when it comes to learning how to be confident. Negative thoughts are something that plagues many each and every day, and this can wreck any confidence that you have in yourself.

Thinking positively can help you with gaining confidence because you will believe in what you are doing and saying. This will then allow you to portray confidence in whatever you are doing.

Comparison is the thief of joy

That’s why to be motivated not competitive

Instead of feeling jealous or like it’s a competition between you and whoever you are comparing yourself to, you should just be happy for the success of others.

Once you realize that, you will find that comparing yourself to others is wasted time because everyone has a different path and goal, including you.

Instead, you should accept your past and present, and realize that you can make changes for the future if you desire to do so.

Remember, you should never compare your beginning to someone else’s middle. You do not know what they have been faces and completed different strategies, and instead, you should be happy for other people’s accomplishments.
